My sister is all graduated! Yay! Well here are the rest of her senior pictures. Her fist shoot we did is HERE.

These we took in fall just for fun but I thought I would share. The second set we did a few weeks ago in a city nearby.

Congrats Amy! I hope you enjoy living life and find everything you are looking for. : )

Sewing for the Baby…

I love this puppy pillow! I got the pattern from HERE

This glorious machine of mine decided half way through my sewing of a bunch of things to throw it’s belt. This is a pain to fix because you have to when putting it back on make sure that your bobbin and needle are lined up. I took that thing on and off I don’t know how many times before I got it lined up right! There was a lot of muttering and groaning at this machine. lol

I really like the colorful door jam too. : ) This one I had no pattern to so I just kinda made it up as I went along.

The Count Down…

The count down has begun! Not months or weeks anymore, days and hours. Ahhh! It is all becoming so real it is kinda hard to believe sometimes. Josh started to freak out a little the other day when he came to the doctor with me and the doctor was talking about what to look for and what to do when the time comes.
How far along? 37 Weeks – 17 days left!
Weight gain? 22lbs
Maternity clothes? pants have been all maternity, sweats or skirts. I have been wearing mostly stretchy tanks that aren’t maternity
Stretch marks? NOPE! : D
Sleep? Hahaha if I can find a position that is comfortable.
Cravings? Spoons full of Nutella and Baby Carrots – NOT together. lol
Symptoms? Leg Cramps and some BH
Baby movement? A TON! My ribs never seem to get a break
Wedding rings on or off? On
Belly button in or out? Out. : P I think it is super gross! lol
Thinking about…  What the baby will look like and if she will will have more of my personality or Josh’s.

Planning our House: the Family Room…

I am going to slowly share each room and what I would like to do for each one. Yes everything is still kinda a mess and boxes are still here and there, but we have only lived here for a month.

So this is the family room/man cave. This is the comfy room we always end up in. It needs some serious d├ęcor help. lol I have to though when decorating it keep Josh in mind because we have decided that this is kinda his room. The places that need wall art will be movie, music and video game posters (classy and vintage like ones, and thank goodness Josh likes all the ones I have so far showed him!).

The room also needs a short wide coffee table for playing board games at and floor pillows for watching movies and playing games.

I really want bean bags like those and a comfy chair like that, though maybe not in white, it is a family room where kids will be. lol Anyways! This is what I would like to do in this room. I will share more rooms soon along with what I am doing in each one as I do it. : )

Baby Planning: Cloth Diapers…

I have decided that I will be using cloth diapers on my baby. If you asked me about cloth a few years ago I would have said that is GROSS! But it makes sense to me now. I have been doing a lot research and talking to friends who have been using them for their newborns.
I get a lot of looks from people when I tell them that I am going to be using cloth, including my husband. He about freaked when I told him I was going to use cloth, he has been insisting he will not use them. Well when I got the first diaper in the mail, I was super excited, Josh was very skeptical. I sat there and showed him how it worked, he shockingly paid attention. He then stated that it “might not be that bad”, YES! I have got him at least to the point where he isn’t freaking out on me. lol
Being as I haven’t had my little one yet I am no expert on all of this, so I am sharing some sites that have been really helpful and informative. Most all of the info I have been getting on cloth diapers if from blogging moms who have used them along with some friends. Here are some of the blogs I found that have been helpful.
Still Being Molly  (this blog has a whole series on diapering)
The Butterfly and Fox Diapers came from Etsy. The rest of them I have bought from amazon and include the following brands… Grovia, Rumparooz, Alva and Kawaii.
I will probably do a post after having done the cloth diapering for a while. I will also soon be doing a post on the nursery, it is slowly coming together! lol

Farm Chicks 2014

I am excited to share these pictures! : ) The fist set are from around my friend’s parents house in eastern Wa. Let me tell you, it is soooo pretty over there, my pictures don’t do it justice.

These are from Farm Chicks! I didn’t take very many this year mostly because I was more worried about keeping track of the big bag on my shoulder crashing in to people and my over sized tummy running into things. Lol But when there wasn’t many people around I was able to get a few shots. I will share pictures of the stuff I found from there soon.

And then the 6 hour drive home….
